Foundations Program

Ages 2 to 5

Where young dancers begin developing confidence, coordination, classroom skills, and a love of dance.

A teenage dancer in a light blue gi-style top and pants balanced on one foot with the other leg extended high in a controlled side kick, against a black studio backdrop

Fort Dance’s early childhood program introduces dancers ages 2 to 5 to movement, musicality, creativity, and foundational dance training in a supportive and engaging environment. Through age-appropriate instruction, dancers develop coordination, classroom skills, body awareness, rhythm, and movement quality while preserving the joy and imagination of early childhood dance.

Our Foundations Program uses level-specific dress codes to create a clean classroom environment while helping dancers feel part of their age group and level.
